Colonial Estate

Ecuador historical background is a mixture of events in time, in which, the territories that nowadays belong to the Republic of Ecuador change a lot in their physical appearance, as well as in their form of government. The history of the Republic can be divided into four fundamental stages: The Pre-Hispanic era, The Conquer and Colonial era, The Independence era and The Republican Époque.

The beginning of the Ecuadorian History shows after the Pre-Hispanic organizations that put an end to the Inca invasion. After, together with the foundings in Quito and Guayaquil, the Spanish Conquer rises to start a new Spanish political – administrative era that would last until the Independences Époque, when the Colombian Nation of Simón Bolívar emerges and that later on, its division would result in the creation of what now is called the Republic of Ecuador.

As a testimony of the Colonial Époque, Ecuador conserves beautiful Estates built around the XVI century, that maintain their original structure, design and ancestral cultural richness. Each Estate is located very close to different ecological reservations and show the way of life of indigenous communities that turn into excellent hosts to receive their visitors. The food and landscapes that one can observe are each an exceptional and different experience that, in the end, will leave deep satisfaction prints in our clients.
